Zakynthos is a truly lush Ionian island of unparalleled beauty. It lies in the southern Ionian Sea and is the third largest of the Ionian islands in terms of area and population. Zakynthos town and port is the island capital, and the main hub focuses around Solomos Square. Zakynthos is an island of great contrasts, with white sandy beaches as well as stunning rocky coasts of wild beauty. Beaches are accessible either by car or boat. The best known beaches are at Tsilivi, Vasilikos, Kalamaki, Laganas and Alykes. The island has a temperate, Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers.

Tsilivi is a popular spot, and one of Zakynthos’ main hubs. It lies in the NE of the island, with a long sandy beach stretching for 4 km. It is home to the Kymothoe Elite – “a different class”. The beach is an award winning European Union “Blue Flag” beach. The countless olive groves and vineyards all around means it is a lush landscape. There is also a lot of night life in Tsilivi where guests can enjoy the bars to the early hours. It is just 5 km from Zakynthos town and lies close to both the island’s airport and port.
